Granite 

• Granite is an igneous rock formed deep in the Earth's crust, which is basically cooled magma. Granite can be found all over the Earth including Brazil, Africa, China, Russia, and even right here in Central Texas. 
• Granite is a great selection for countertops including kitchens, outdoor BBQs, baths, and laundry rooms. The durability, ease of maintenance, and beauty of granite make it a popular countertop choice. ​​

At Travertine Artisans, we are a fabricator who will template your countertops, cut to size, and install your new stone. We work with all the wholesale slab yards in Austin, so if you find a slab you love, just let us know and we will arrange for delivery to our shop.

Porcelain    This is a relatively new category for countertops, but are extremely durable for various applications. These thin 1/2" slabs come in large slabs, approximately 126 x 63", making a great countertop, fireplace surround, or wall application such as shower or full backsplash.  Because it is made with organic materials and won't turn yellow, it is suitable for outdoor use, even around pools!
